Sweden Invests 8.7 Billion Kronor in Air Defense Systems
Sweden has decided to purchase air defense and drone defense systems worth 8.7 billion Swedish kronor from defense contractors such as Saab and BAE Systems. The investment follows Europe's rearmament strategy following Russia's attack on Ukraine with planned defense spending of 2.8% of GDP.
