A 31-year-old Swiss man named Jonas Lauwiner has declared himself 'King of Switzerland' and is exploiting a legal loophole to acquire approximately 117,000 square meters of land for free. To date, the young man has acquired 148 ownerless properties throughout Switzerland, including publicly used roads, which has triggered political reactions.
