Syrian father travels to Cyprus for son's kidney treatment
Syrian construction worker Abdulaziz Aldarwish undertook a dangerous journey to Cyprus to save the life of his son Yahia, whose kidneys had failed. He could not afford the monthly costs of 1,200 euros for dialysis treatment in Lebanon. The health system there has practically collapsed after years of conflict and neglect.
