Syrian Parliament Abolishes Assad-Era Terrorism Court
The Syrian parliament voted on Wednesday to abolish a terrorism court from the Assad era and overturn its verdicts, according to state broadcaster Al-Ikhbariya. The court was established in 2012 when then-President Bashar al-Assad sought to suppress an uprising against his rule.
