Systematic migration management shows success
The arrival of asylum seekers in the first half of 2026 decreased by 92% compared to 2022. Since the current government took office, approximately 35,000 third-country nationals have left. Following the regime change in Syria, 5,200 Syrian citizens voluntarily left the country, while 2,000 asylum seekers withdrew their applications. These figures demonstrate the success of the new migration policy.
