Taliban Regime: 2,745 Documented Public Lashings in Four Years
Afghan human rights defenders have documented alarming figures of public floggings under Taliban rule. Between February 2022 and April 2026, at least 2,745 people were publicly lashed in 634 registered cases, with women particularly affected by these punishments.
