Teacher Organizations Demand Reform of Appointment System
Three Cypriot teacher organizations (ΠΟΕΔ, OΕΛΜΕΚ, ΟΛΤΕΚ) met regarding the appointment system for teachers. The organizations support a change in legislation but reject victimization of their members and are awaiting written statements from the Ministry of Education by the end of July.
