Teacher unions protest against appointment system
The teacher unions POED, OELMEK and OLTEK protested on Thursday in front of the Presidential Palace against the revised proposal by the Ministry of Education on the appointment system for teachers. The unions reject the new proposal because, in their view, it does not adequately protect teachers.
