Teachers Suspend Strike for 15-Day Negotiations
Fixed-term and permanent teachers employed in Education Ministry programs have suspended their planned strike action for 15 days. Andreas Kounnis, general secretary of PASEV-PEO, justified this decision by stating that the government and particularly the Education Minister should be given time for negotiations. The 24-hour strike planned for the coming Monday is thus postponed.
