Telephone Fraudster Arrested at Larnaca Airport
Police arrested a 28-year-old man at Larnaca Airport in connection with internet fraud. The man allegedly defrauded a 49-year-old of 6,800 euros through a fraudulent phone call in February 2026. The fraudster posed as an employee of an online bank where the victim held an account and then simulated an account transaction over the phone.
