Temu tariffs become lucrative revenue source for the state
New tariffs on small packages from China are proving to be a profitable revenue source for Cyprus. In July alone, the Customs Department collected nearly 2 million euros from the newly introduced 3-euro tariff on 650,000 items in 160,000 packages, despite this occurring during holiday season with reduced ordering activity.
