Tensions in the Strait of Hormuz: Attacks on Tankers Drive Up Oil Prices
Two large tankers carrying Saudi crude oil were attacked in the Strait of Hormuz within minutes of each other. Each vessel was loaded with approximately two million barrels of Saudi crude oil. The latest escalation is driving oil price jumps on international markets.
