Terra Cypria: Environmental activists acquitted, trap hunters convicted
The Parliamentary Environmental Commission is addressing the activities of environmental organizations and activists today after deputies Lino Papagiannis and Lino Ioannis Hatzigeorgiu brought the issue forward themselves. All court judgments acquit the environmental activists and convict poachers, which has provoked strong reactions from civic movements and environmental organizations.
