Thales CEO: AI Technology Necessary Against Cyberattacks
The chief executive officer of French defense contractor Thales is calling for increased investment in artificial intelligence for cybersecurity defense to keep pace with the growing wave of AI-powered cyberattacks. The company chief warns of an "alarming" increase in attacks in which AI models can operate independently without human oversight and enable attacks to be carried out faster and more sophisticated.
