Third Vulture Chick Ringed in Cyprus
Authorities successfully reported the ringing of the third vulture chick born in Cyprus this year as further progress in the conservation of this endangered species. GPS tracking also helped authorities rescue the first chick of the year after it became stuck in dense vegetation during its first flight near the British military bases.
