Thousands evacuated from wildfire in southwestern France
An out-of-control wildfire in southwestern France has forced the evacuation of approximately 10,000 people from two dozen small towns and villages near the Spanish border. The fire has so far destroyed approximately 4,600 hectares in the foothills of the French Pyrenees, with strong winds further fanning the flames.
