Three Fires in Mathiatis-Sia Within Three Days
Three fires occurred within three days in the Mathiatis-Sia area in the Nicosia region. A combine harvester in a field in Sia caught fire shortly after midnight on Thursday and was brought under control within 30 minutes. The fire department prevented the spread to nearby vegetation.
