Tightening of Maintenance Regulations for Divorced Parents
Cyprus's parliamentary Justice Commission has adopted new regulations for maintenance payments by divorced parents. Divorced parents must henceforth submit sworn statements about their income, and in certain cases maintenance claims are granted even after the children reach 18 years of age. The revised provisions are part of a comprehensive reform package.
