Timur Turlov Candidacy for FIDE Presidency
Timur Turlov, Chief Executive Officer of Freedom Holding Corp. and President of the Kazakhstani Chess Federation, announces his candidacy for the position of FIDE President. The elections will take place on September 26 and 27, 2026 in Samarkand during the General Assembly and alongside the 46th Chess Olympiad.
