Tottenham's Simons out for season and World Cup
Xavi Simons of Tottenham Hotspur and the Dutch national team suffered a severe knee injury and must withdraw from the rest of the season as well as the World Cup. The injury occurred during the 1-0 victory against Wolverhampton Wanderers when Simons was carried off on a stretcher.
