Tourism Arrivals Decline in First Half of Year, June More Stable
Tourism arrivals in Cyprus declined by 10.1% in the first half of 2026, with the decline narrowing to 1.7% in June. Meanwhile, foreign travel by Cypriot citizens increased by 7.4% in June, reaching approximately 169,000 people. Tourism Deputy Secretary Kostas Koumiś views the June development as satisfactory under the given circumstances and attests to the tourism sector returning to more stable growth.
