Tourism association demands regulation of short-term rentals after building collapse
The Cyprus Association of Tourism Enterprises (STEK) sees an urgent need to regulate the short-term rental sector following the collapse of a building in Limassol. The association calls on the government and parliament to immediately and comprehensively overhaul the legal framework for short-term rentals and enforce it strictly, including genuine inspections, clear regulations, and clear accountability.
