Cyprus's tourism crisis is worsening: after rising 7.4% in the first two months of 2026, Israeli tourist arrivals plummeted 95% in March after the outbreak of war deterred Israeli tourists, who daily spend twice as much as other nationalities. Airports recorded a decline of 16% in April, and a total of 450,000 fewer travelers than usual are expected for summer 2026.
