Tourism industry feels impact of crisis
The director general of Cyprus's Tourism Entrepreneurs Association (ΠΑΣΥΞΕ), Christos Angelidis, emphasizes that tourism is one of the country's most important economic sectors, from which many families earn their living and on which numerous professional groups depend. The hoteliers association (ΠΟΒΕΚ) recently reports significant negative impacts of the current crisis on the tourism sector.
