Tourism Revenue Drops Dramatically by 35 Percent
Cyprus's tourism revenue plummeted by 35.1 percent in April 2026, reaching only 197.5 million euros compared to 304.2 million in the previous year. For January through April 2026, tourism revenue totaled 443 million euros, compared to 582.5 million in the same period in 2025 – a decline of 23.9 percent.
