Tourist arrivals in Cyprus fell by 30.7% in March 2026, declining from 200,736 to 139,198 visitors. The reason is the Middle East conflict, which has significantly impacted travel bookings. In the first quarter of 2026 overall, visitor numbers stood at 407,339, down 8.8% from the previous year, which represents significant economic repercussions for the tourism industry.
