Tourists avoid Cyprus due to deteriorated security image
Cyprus faces a difficult tourism season as the conflict with Iran has damaged the island's security image abroad. According to Charis Papacharalambous, president of the Cypriot travel and tourism association ACTTA, the main problem for Cyprus as a travel destination is the deteriorated perception of the security situation.
