Trade, tourism and real estate most at risk
Businesses in the trade, tourism and real estate sectors, as well as low-income households, are considered the most vulnerable sectors of the Cypriot economy. They are particularly exposed to geopolitical tensions, inflationary pressures and rising energy costs. Despite improved balance sheets for businesses and households and increased bank lending, these sectors remain vulnerable.
