Trade unions consult on economic consequences of Middle East crisis
After Easter, the Cypriot trade union confederation plans a conference to analyze the economic impact of the Middle East crisis on large employee groups. Despite the ceasefire in the combat zone, the consequences, particularly increased energy costs, are affecting the standard of living in Cyprus and are expected to have longer-lasting effects.
