Trade unions warn of new landfill disposal fee
Cypriot trade unions are opposing a planned fee of 10 euros per tonne for household waste disposal. They fear that additional costs will ultimately be passed on to citizens and lead to higher municipal taxes. The unions have expressed their concerns to the parliamentary environmental committee.
