Traffic chaos on Nicosia-Larnaca highway due to closures
The highway between Nicosia and Larnaca experienced significant traffic disruptions after two lanes in both directions at the Rizoelia exit were closed at 16:00. The cause was damage to an underground telecommunications cable, which concentrated traffic on the remaining left lanes.
