Traffic violations in first half of 2026: Nearly 37,000 warnings issued
Despite hefty fines of 300 euros for certain traffic violations, drivers continue to ignore traffic rules. So far this year, 25 people have died in traffic accidents (an increase compared to 27 in the previous year), prompting traffic police to intensify controls.
