Tragic Migration Incident in Ceuta – 72 Deaths, EU Emergency Meeting
Following a massive illegal migration movement of over 50,000 people into the Spanish enclave of Ceuta at the Moroccan border, at least 72 people have died. The European Union subsequently convened an emergency meeting of interior ministers for August 4, as there is considerable disagreement within the EU over how to respond to this incident.
