Travelers warned: Do not import plants to Cyprus
The Ministry of Agriculture warns travelers against importing plants, seeds, and plant products into Cyprus, as these could introduce harmful pests and diseases. Even a single plant or seed packet as a souvenir could contain insects, fungi, or bacteria not native to Cyprus and endanger crops and wildlife.
