Trial against Agia Napa mayor over EU funding fraud
In the trial against Agia Napa Mayor Christos Zannettou, accused of unlawfully obtaining €765,486 in European funding, two officials from the tourism authority KOT testified as witnesses. Zannettou is alleged to have falsified a hotel's financial documents from 2007 to secure the funding.
