Trump, Greenland and Denmark sign security agreement
US President Trump and the leaders of Greenland and Denmark signed an agreement allowing increased US military presence on the strategically important and resource-rich island of Greenland. The agreement, signed at the margins of the UN General Assembly, ends an ongoing conflict over the island but falls short of Trump's original demands.
