Trump Rejects Iranian Ceasefire Proposal
US President Donald Trump has rejected a seven-day ceasefire proposal from Iran. Tehran had also presented a plan to open the Strait of Hormuz under certain conditions. Negotiations for peace in the conflict have thereby become more difficult.
