Trump rejects Iranian proposal: No lifting of naval blockade without nuclear deal
US President Donald Trump has rejected an Iranian demand to lift the naval blockade. In an interview with Israeli broadcaster Channel 12, Trump reaffirmed that the US will not ease sanctions against Iran unless an agreement is reached on Iran's nuclear program. Trump justified this stance by stating that the naval blockade represents an effective pressure tool.
