Turkey Becomes Europe's Leading Livestock Producer
Turkey has overtaken EU countries and is now Europe's largest livestock producer. While EU herds are shrinking, the number of Turkish cattle is growing by 4.3 percent, and the Turkish sheep herd is almost four times larger than that of the next European competitor.
