Turkey Hosts UNESCO World Heritage Conference 2027 in Istanbul
Turkey was selected to host the 49th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee in 2027. The conference will take place from June 27 to July 7, 2027 in Istanbul. This is commented on as ironic in an opinion piece, presumably due to geopolitical tensions between Cyprus and Turkey.
