Turkey plans natural gas pipeline to Cyprus
Turkish Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar announced that Turkey will build a natural gas pipeline to Cyprus. Despite nine deep-sea drilling operations in the past, Turkey has not discovered significant natural gas reserves in the eastern Mediterranean like those found in the Black Sea, but continues to focus on exploration efforts in the region.
