Turkey prepares legislation on maritime claims
Turkey plans to pass legislation to formally establish its maritime claims in disputed areas of the Aegean Sea and the Eastern Mediterranean. This could lead to new tensions with Greece and Cyprus over energy rights at sea and disputed maritime boundaries.
