Turkey protests against electricity cable project Greece-Cyprus
The Turkish Defense Ministry has once again protested against the planned electricity cable between Greece and Cyprus. Ankara argues that activities in areas it considers part of the Turkish continental shelf cannot be approved without prior coordination. Turkey reaffirms its intensive monitoring of developments in the eastern Mediterranean region and reserves the right to take appropriate measures.
