Turkey sees no progress on Cyprus issue despite UN meeting
Following a trilateral meeting between UN Secretary-General António Guterres, President Nikos Christodoulides, and Turkish-Cypriot leader Tufan Erhürman, the Turkish Foreign Ministry stated that no common ground for a Cyprus solution exists so far. However, Cypriot politician Annita Dimitriou expressed hope that Guterres' intention to convene a further enlarged conference after necessary preparation keeps the possibility open for substantive negotiations.
