Turkey warns against power cable project between Greece and Cyprus
An EU-backed submarine cable aimed at ending Cyprus's energy isolation has become a new point of conflict between Ankara and the EU. Turkey warned on Thursday that it will not permit unauthorized cable laying or surveying activities in waters that it claims as part of its continental shelf.
