Turkish Country Houses to Be Transferred to Heirs
Administrators of Turkish property are pressuring to allow Turkish-Cypriot country houses, which have been used as holiday accommodations for decades, to be transferred to heirs. The issue was discussed at a parliamentary session of the refugees committee, with Anthi Lakkotropi, director of the administration office for Turkish-Cypriot property, expressing concerns. The regulation would also affect commercial properties.
