Turkish-Cypriot Coalition Silent on Failed Name Change Bill
The Turkish-Cypriot coalition government made little comment on a legislative proposal that the Turkish parliament rejected. The New Ways Party had submitted a motion to rename Northern Cyprus to the "Turkish Republic of Cyprus."
