Turkish-Cypriot Parliament Changes Electoral System Against Leader's Will
The Turkish-Cypriot Parliament has voted for the second time to change the electoral system for legislative elections, after leader Tufan Erhurman blocked the first amendment law from earlier in the month. The second vote on Tuesday overturned a previous regulation. The change comes shortly before an anticipated new election in December.
