Turkish F-16s cause unease in northern Cyprus
Turkish F-16 fighter jets conducted overflights over the occupied north of Cyprus and caused alarm among the population. Turkish Cypriot official Erhan Arıklı stated that Turkey responds quickly to military activities by the Republic of Cyprus and will not remain inactive, but simultaneously warned against escalation.
