Turkish Feta Imitations Threaten Greece's Cheese Reputation
The Greek Association of Geotechnical Civil Servants (ΠΟΓΕΔΥ) has raised alarm over counterfeit Turkish "Feta" products entering European and international markets. Despite warnings from nearly a year ago, Greek authorities have yet to take public action to protect the protected designation of origin (PDO) status of the traditional cheese.
